Our Development Story:
Step 1:
Started with a breadboard and a arduino but we needed a speaker. Mr. Lange gave us an old 70s radio an told us there was a speaker in it so we took it apart and took the speaker out.
Here's the inside of the radio pictured below.
Step 2:
After the speaker we needed to sauter the old speaker wires because they were peeled off and the speaker was as good as new
Here is the sautering process when it is first removed from the radio
Step 2:
After the speaker we needed to sauter the old speaker wires because they were peeled off and the speaker was as good as new
Step 3:
When we got our new speaker we wanted to see if the old speaker worked. We hooked up the arduino to the a breadboard and an arduino with a 200 ohm resistor. We found some code and played music through our speaker
We wanted to make sure our speaker worked and we could play something out of it so we tried to play the mario theme song and here it is.
The set up with our speaker to the right is a simple built with a 200 ohm resistor, a breadboard, and a arduino.
Here is the speaker after the soldering process.
